Drew Howes may be the rightful heir to the Isle of Man throne, but if he’s going to convince wife Pam to move there permanently, he’ll need an actual job.
On this week’s episode of TLC’s “Suddenly Royal,” the Howes are getting closer to making a decision about their future as potential residents of the British island. Drew has made it clear that he wants to stay — so now all he has to do is convince his spouse and their daughter that the island has a lot to offer.
With housing and income at the top of the family’s to-do list, Drew pitches himself as a taxi driver, radio host and a “kingly” tourist attraction this week. In the above clip, the “king” enjoys some tea with his queen as they plot relocation — and a way to make the government take their royal claim seriously.
“I’m fully willing to go out and look for work,” Drew promised, thrilled to have his wife’s support. “I’m not gonna uproot the family to sell tires here on the island — but genius takes time.”
Later, the elated Drew tells Pam: “I want to start wearing your underwear, take our relationship to the next level.”
Word to the wise, Pam — elastic tends not to shrink back to its original width.
