"That's What She Said," a raunchy comedy directed and produced by "True Blood" actress Carrie Preston, has been acquired by Phase 4 Films, the company said Tuesday.

Kellie Overbey wrote the script about best friends DeeDee, played by Heche, and Bebe, played by DeBonis, who have a misadventure in New York City.

"'That's What She Said' is part of the current wave of female driven raunchy comedies, with a trio of relatable anti-heroines behaving badly," Berry Meyerowitz, president and CEO of Phase 4, said in a statement.

Phase 4 plans to release the film in theaters and on VOD later this year.
