Everybody’s favorite pot-smoking teddy bear is back.
Universal released a new, red band trailer for “Ted 2” on Monday. The sequel to Seth MacFarlane‘s 2012 smash hit comedy sees Ted (voiced by MacFarlane) and his thunder buddy John (Mark Wahlberg) doing everything they can to help Ted and his girlfriend Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) conceive a baby.
That includes breaking into New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s house to try and steal some of his baby batter.
Adversity strikes when Ted is forced to prove his humanity in court before he can be allowed to father a child, so he and John enlist the services of a pothead lawyer (Amanda Seyfried). But no obstacle may prove as great as the mountain of porn that Ted finds on John’s laptop.
“Ted” was a major hit when it debuted, earning almost $550 million globally, more than any other R-rated comedy in history. The film reunites Wahlberg and MacFarlane in the leads, with Seyfried taking over for Mila Kunis.
“Ted 2” opens in theaters June 26.
