‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Consider Turning Human in Sequel’s New Trailer (Video)

Plus, Bebop and Rocksteady see themselves as animals for the first time

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles consider just becoming regular teenage ninjas in the newest trailer for Michael Bay‘s sophomore production of the franchise revival.

In the second preview for the sequel, the boys discover that the purple ooze can not only turn humans into animals — like Bebop and Rocksteady — but it can turn animals into humans. That causes an internal battle in the sewers as tricky as the actual external fighting the film is packed with. Of course, ultimately, Leonardo the buzzkill shoots down any such idea.

Oh, and at some point during the trailer, Raphael gets hit by an airplane. Hard.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” stars Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, Laura Linney, Johnny Knoxville, Tyler Perry, Fred Armisen and Tony Shalhoub. It hails from Paramount Pictures.

This “TMNT 2” sneaks into theaters on June 3. The 2014 film was directed by Jonathan Liebesman, this one has Dave Green‘s fingerprints all over it.
