Thandie Newton Teases Han Solo ‘Star Wars’ Spinoff (Video)

“Westworld” star talked Lord and Miller anthology film during a chat for TheWrap Emmy magazine

Thandie Newton, “Westworld” star and badass at large, had some high praise for her current gig on the Untitled Young Han Solo film.

Newton joined the cast of the “Star Wars” spinoff earlier this year, adding to the previously announced Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke and Alden Ehrenreich in the titular role.

Newton recently visited with TheWrap’s Emmy magazine to discuss her artificial intelligence series on HBO and the shooting of Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s highly-anticipated film.

“It’s fantastic, I’m loving it,” she said of the London set for Solo film. “It’s different from anything else I have done or am doing.”

But why, Thandie?

“I can’t tell you. It’s just different, OK? It’s just really different.”

Let that brief but mysterious description tide you over until the film hits theaters in May 2018.
