‘The 100’ Season 3 First Look Teases Major Transformation for Clarke (Photo)

Eliza Taylor’s character gets a makeover in sneak peek of CW drama’s midseason return

Clarke Griffin will look quite a bit different when “The 100” returns for Season 3 on The CW.

Eliza Taylor wears her hair braided and warpaint on her face in the first photo released from the post-apocalyptic drama’s third season, which is currently filming.

“Sneak peek of Clarke in Season 3. You guys aren’t ready. 2016 isn’t THAT far away,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg shared on Twitter along with the photo.

Last we saw Clarke, she was walking away from Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Camp Jaha after the terrible things she was forced to do in Season 2 became too much for her to deal with.

Season 3 will bring at least some resolution to that as Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), the Grounder commander who kissed Clarke and then left her to die, is set to return. Season 3 will also see new characters make their appearance, including Zach McGowan as a new Grounder named Roan, and Michael Beach as Pike, a new character from the Ark.

“The 100” will return in midseason for 16 episodes, though there is no exact air date yet.
