As President Trump continues to face harsh criticism for blaming Rob Reiner’s murder on “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” including some from his own party, “The View” host had a blunt message on Tuesday for every Republican who hasn’t condemned his comments.

“There is no justification for him to have written what he wrote,” she said. “There is no way to justify it. And all of those Republicans who are quiet, damn you all. Damn you all.”

Reiner and his wife Michele Singer-Reiner were found apparently murdered in their home on Sunday, with their son Nick Reiner, who has long struggled with mental health and substance abuse issues, being taken into custody on Monday. In the hours following the discovery of the Reiners’ bodies, Trump posted on social media, blaming their killings on Rob Reiner’s political views, which were staunchly anti-Trump.

When asked about his post by press later in the day, Trump doubled down on his assertion, and added that he felt that Reiner was “very bad for our country.”

“You know who’s bad for the country?” Whoopi retorted after watching the footage. “I don’t know how you were raised, but this man’s family is in deep mourning. And what you said, and what you’ve doubled down on, make you bad for the country, make you very bad for the country.”

Whoopi’s co-hosts readily agreed, shaming the president for turning the murder of Reiner into a political vendetta, especially after scolding people for not properly mourning the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. The ABC hosts mourned that Trump couldn’t even fake condolences.

“He has none of the ability to lead, to set a tone for empathy, for sympathy,” host Joy Behar said. “I don’t know what he’s doing there.”

Host Sunny Hostin argued that Trump is actually “incapable” of grief and empathy, and pined for the days of President Obama and how he responded to tragedy.
