AMC released the first two minutes from next Sunday’s the mid-season premiere on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, it’s just a stylized, dramatic montage consisting mostly of scenes fans of the zombie drama have already seen.
Then there’s Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who appears to have his head back in leader mode and plans on embarking upon the “last long trip” they need to make, providing a safe haven in Richmond is still standing.
If producers want to keep this series running for five more seasons, then it’s a good guess that this trek — like every one before it — will probably just lead to more death.
“The Walking Dead” resumes Season 5 on AMC on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
