Some disturbing stuff has happened on “The Walking Dead” over the course of eight seasons, but what occurred in this Sunday’s episode was straight up cruel.
Ezekiel slowly broke down over the course of the episode titled “Some Guy,” and a lot of that had to do with what happened to his fiercely loyal tiger, Shiva — who he rescued from the zoo where he worked. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.
After focusing basically the entire episode on how in love Ezekiel and Shiva are, the tiger was slaughtered by a horde of zombies. Shiva died fighting to save Ezekiel’s life, who, thankfully escape. But, um, the tiger was eaten by the walking dead so that his king could live.
Watch the horrifying clip of Ezekiel helplessly bearing witness as his beloved tiger is consumed by vicious, toxic zombies, above. But be forewarned: It is arguably the most upsetting thing that has ever happened on “The Walking Dead.”
