As part of Amazon’s streaming deal with the National Football League, Thursday Night Football games are made available for free on Amazon-owned Twitch.
And for this week’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings, Twitch will roll out a suite of features designed to take the viewing experience to a level not possible with traditional television broadcasts.

The gaming-focused streaming platform is introducing new interactive features that will bring viewers into the game experience — with real-time player stats and no-stakes sports betting game boards. The company is also testing a unique form of on-air commentary on football for the first time.

Starting with the 9/27 game, Twitch will co-stream the game with all-star-streamers starting with GoldGlove, a Twitch creator who has amassed over 54 million all-time views from 1.3 million followers. Known for game-play commentary, GoldGlove will serve as a live commentator for Thursday Night Football on Twitch, in what Twitch is calling “the ultimate fan-as-commentator experience.”
