TLC has ordered more of the big attitudes, dresses and drama of “Gypsy Sisters.”
The cable network has ordered eight more episodes of the “My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding” spinoff and set its return for Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9/8c.
“Gypsy Sisters” follows the Stanley family women and their relatives: Nettie, Kayla, Mellie, Sheena, Annie and JoAnn of Martinsburg, W. Va.

The season finds a family at war. The two-hour season premiere will open the season with a fight when Kayla and Nettie’s anger over Mellie’s meddling reaches a boiling point resulting in what TLC promises to be “the most outrageous and violent brawls in reality television history.”
The result of all the drama is Mellie’s estrangement from the family. Expect that to be only one of the challenges she’ll face this season, including pregnancy, a short-lived marriage and some jail time.
