Tom Cruise Flies High in First Look at Next ‘Mission Impossible’ (Video)

He’s hanging on for dear life in newly named ”Rogue Nation,“ the next installment in the Paramount action franchise

Tom Cruise is pulling another high-octane stunt in “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation,” the fifth entry in Paramount’s action franchise that hits theaters in the U.S. on July 31.

Cruise strapped himself to an Airbus A400 for a shot that has him outside the plane during takeoff and landing, and it looks every bit as hairy as it sounds.

The stunts have become a staple for Cruise in the “Mission Impossible” movies, which have grossed more than $2 billion globally. He scaled the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai for 2011’s “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol,” which is the highest-grossing of the series with $695 million at worldwide box office.
