On Thursday night’s “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah took time to look more closely at some new hand gestures Trump used during a recent appearance at a political rally — particularly one rather onanistic-looking motion.
The bit began with a brief chat about Trump’s speech at a rally on Wednesday in Duluth, Minnesota.
“At this point, Trump’s rallies are like ‘Jurassic Park’ movies. Sure they’re predictable, but you still kind of want to see what the screaming, tiny-hand monster will do once he gets loose.”
But, Noah added: “Trump has clearly been practicing a whole bunch of new hand moves.”
Cue a supercut of Trump’s gestures from the rally: a weird squiggle motion, something that looks kind of like vogueing, a pointing wave, a scooping wave, a curious flying motion, and finally, a point-and-click kind of move. That last one ended with Trump holding his hand in a fist, thumb-out, and moving his hand back and forth in an extremely, uh, provocative way.
“What was that?” Noah asked. “Like, if you had your TV on mute, what would you think the president would be talking about when he did that? Someone at home was just like, ‘Uh, honey, I think we’re jerking off the immigrants now.”
