HBO releases a poster that capitalizes on fan fears surrounding the upcoming season

HBO knows how to get our attention.

The premium cable channel released the key art for "True Blood's" Season 6 and it seems to be playing off reports that the series is saying goodbye to one of its major bloodsuckers.

On the larger scale, the series has been teasing a human vs. supernaturals war that is sure to include several deaths. But, there has also been some talk of the upcoming season being Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) last.

The season also marks the first one co-creator Alan Ball has not served on as showrunner. Mark Hudis was tapped to replace him last May, but he too was replaced in the middle of shooting with writer/producer Brian Buckner in March. Buckner has been with “True Blood” since its first season.
