If you say Democrats aren’t “even people,” you’re going to get some blowback.
Take for example first son Eric Trump, who said it on the Fox News program “Hannity” while discussing media bias.
“I’ve never seen hatred like this. To me they’re not even people. It’s so sad. I mean, morality is gone, morals have flown out the window and we deserve so much better than this as a country,” Eric said on Tuesday night’s “Hannity.” “You see the Democratic Party, they’re imploding.”
In response, a whole lot of people took offense to his claim, voicing opposition across the internet. The Democratic National Committee, for example, released a statement firing back at Trump.
“Believe it or not, Eric, Democrats are people. So are Muslims, immigrants, women, people with pre-existing conditions, and everyone else Trump is hurting,” chair Tom Perez wrote.

This also left plenty of opportunity for people on Twitter to call out Trump’s hypocrisy, whether it’s through his own actions or through the actions of his father, the President of the United States.
He couldn't vote in the primary because he was a registered democrat. @EricTrump is dumber than carter page.

Eric Trump says Dems are not even people. I'm pretty sure I am a person who sacrificed and served this country so you can say stupid shit.

Eric Trump says "Democrats are not people, morality is gone," as his mouth stretches wide and locusts pour from within to devour children.

This also stems into hypocrisy about the GOP and the Trump campaign. Remember “basket of deplorables?”
Remember when Hillary said half of Trump's voters were deplorable and everyone lost their damn mind. https://t.co/ix1IXWWmt5

People specifically referenced a Forbes article published Tuesday that claimed the younger Trump, who runs the Eric Trump Foundation and other charities, had funneled money from those organizations into the Trump Organization, of which he is a co-head.
Of course, that only meant the internet doubled down and combined the two stories into one strong meme.
I have raised $16.3 million dollars for terminally ill children at @StJude with less than a 12.3% expense ratio. What have you done today?! https://t.co/4jf7GIJaBN

Eric Trump kills defenseless animals and funnels kids cancer research money to his daddy's bank account. Who's the real person again?

Either way, even after Trump tries to undermine the existence of millions of people some are standing up, whether it’s to continue to resist (or #resist) or to accept the gift Trump has given them.
David Duke says Jews aren't white. Eric Trump says Democrats aren't people. So I guess today begins my new life as a purple dragon.

Dear @EricTrump
I'm one of those Democrats you claim aren't even people
There are millions of us
