‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s’ Tituss Burgess Unboxes Netflix Emmy Voter Mailer (Exclusive Video)

The actor also showcases streaming platform’s other awards contenders like “House of Cards,” “Bloodline”

As members of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences begin voting on the talent pool eligible for this year’s Emmy Awards, Netflix is pulling out the big guns to get their original series like “House of Cards” and “Orange Is The New Black” some attention.

Tituss Burgess, a breakout star of Tina Fey and Robert Carlock‘s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” is featured in a hilarious clip “unboxing” the For Your Consideration mailers voters are receiving.

A nice bottle of Pinot Noir (a nod to his own viral musical hit in “Kimmy Schmidt”), a cornichon (a reference to Claire Underwood’s “little pickle” joke on “House of Cards”) and a colored lenses and walking stick (just like Matt Murdoch’s in “Daredevil”) all come out of the box for Burgess.

In reality, voters will receive DVDs of the network’s originals, which also includes Kyle Chandler‘s “Bloodline.”
