Attorney Lisa Bloom announced on Twitter Friday that she will be filing a lawsuit on behalf of three people against R&B star Usher, who is being accused of failing to disclose that he had genital herpes at the time they had sexual contact.
Bloom tweeted out the announcement, which says there will be a press conference Monday where one accuser will speak; the other two accusers are named as Jane Doe and John Doe. “Many news organizations have recently reported that musician Usher was diagnosed with herpes in approximately 2009, and in 2012 settled a case with a woman who claimed he’d transmitted the disease to her,” the press release says. “Usher has not publicly denied these claims.”

The accusers, according to the Bloom Firm statement, all “allege that Usher had sexual contact with them after 2012, and failed to warn them of his alleged STD, as required by law.”
