“Austin Powers” star Verne Troyer is now a documentarian. That is if you consider recording a hot pursuit through LAX, up until the suspect gets tasered by security, a short film.
Troyer, who played Dr. Evil’s Mini-Me in the “The Spy Who Shagged Me” and “Goldmember,” was catching a flight to Ohio on Wednesday when he caught a shady character ignoring airport security.
The TSA told NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio that at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, 21-year-old Christian James Heinz refused to be screened by TSA agents. After airport police officers were called to assist, Heinz continued to refuse to cooperate.
Troyer noticed the commotion, and began recording on his phone when Heinz managed to break away from the officer attempting to handcuff him.
Troyer followed the action and continued to record a dramatic confrontation in which security repeatedly threatened to use a taser on Heinz, who didn’t seem to care.
“I don’t know if he was on something or what it was, but he wasn’t acting normal,” Troyer said.
Security eventually followed through on its promise, and unleashed 50,000 volt of electricity into the trespasser.
