‘Walking Dead’ Cast on Season 4: ‘Yes, There Are More Zombies’ and a ‘New Threat’ (Video)

Executive producer Robert Kirkman and his cast tease a new danger more deadly than humans or zombies … combined

Season 4 will not only have "more zombies than ever before" but a whole new threat that could be the deadliest the gang has faced yet.

"It's not even the walkers, and it's not even other people this time," Lauren Cohan (Maggie) says in a new behind-the-scenes video. "There's a whole new threat."

Executive producer Robert Kirkman chimes in to add the new threat "could be more deadly than the other two combined."

If this was a Syfy show, the reasonable conclusion would be zombie sharks. But given the location of the prison where most of the action appears to go down, that's probably out of the question.

When AMC's hit drama returns on Oct. 13, fans can expect a more stable Rick (Andrew Lincoln), who is finally realizing the responsibility he has as a father; Carl (Chandler Riggs) will stop trying to act like he's 30; Michonne (Danai Gurira) will continue killing everything she can with a katana, and the prison will look more like a home — complete with a garden.
