In case you needed visual proof, inhaling fumes from 8.5 flaming tons of opiates is not a good idea. Or maybe it is, depending on what you’re into, but it’s probably not a great idea if you’re working.
BBC reporter Quentin Sommerville found out first hand four years ago when trying to film a segment about a drug bust in Afghanistan.
In a never-before-seen blooper video, Sommerville tweeted as an “Xmas laugh” for his followers on Monday, the reporter can be seen breaking out into an uncontrollable fit of giggles while trying to report on the pile of burning drugs behind him.
It was deleted from Sommerville’s Twitter account, but not before being uploaded to YouTube.
It’s quite a trip.
