Watch ‘Stranger Things’ Chief Hopper Dance to Your Favorite Songs (Videos)

Fan matches actor’s dance move from Season 2 to epic tracks

Hopper Stranger Things

There’s a cute little dance move David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper does when talking to Eleven in the second season of “Stranger Things.” And now you can watch it over and over again, matched to your favorite songs.

During the third episode, Hopper dances to Jim Croce’s “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim.” Someone on Twitter took that and created a meme called Hopper Dancing To, dedicated to the Hawkins police chief shaking it to songs by *NSync, Gorillaz and Spice Girls, as well as the Pokemon theme song and a famous track from Oscar darling “La La Land.”

Even Harbour himself caught wind of the epic meme, tweeting, “Whoever created this account has won, not only the internet, but, yes, my stone cold heart. Thank you.”

The account gained 14,000 followers in the first two days. It also garnered the attention of Shawn Levy, who directed episode three.

“Yrs from now, when I look back on my directing career, perhaps no single moment will make me prouder. & FYI- picked the song!” he wrote.

Last month, someone did the same with a scene from “It,” where Pennywise the Clown creepily dances down in the sewers. Some genius made the Clown dance to a variety of different songs, including “Everytime We Touch,” “The Macarena,” “Shake it Off,” “I’m Blue” and “Barbie Girl.
