Willie Nelson is looking to light up the world with his latest business endeavor.

The “On the Road Again” country singer and marijuana enthusiast announced Monday — 4/20, not at all coincidentally — that he’s launching his own cannabis brand, Willie’s Reserve, which will reflect Nelson’s “longstanding experience and his commitment to regulated, natural and high quality strains of marijuana in U.S. legal markets.”

The product will initially be grown, distributed and sold by local businesses in Colorado and Washington, becoming available in additional markets when state regulations allow.

“I am looking forward to working with the best growers in Colorado and Washington to make sure our product is the best on the market,” Nelson said of the weed brand, which will be a collaboration between the singer-songwriter and “some of the best master growers in America.”

The Red Headed Stranger’s new enterprise will be green in more ways than one — the company plans to work with businesses “that are making smart and sustainable choices for the environment” and “are committed to encouraging safe, legal use.”

On a somewhat related note, Nelson recently released a video for the song “It’s All Going to Pot,” a collaboration with fellow country legend Merle Haggard. The track will appear on the pair’s upcoming album “Django and Jimmie,” due out June 2.
