Bully Ray, formerly Bubba Ray Dudley of WWE, does not approve of The Revival’s “Raw” tribute to the late Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart on Monday.
The current WWE tag team, which is made up of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, borrowed The Hart Foundation’s Hart Attack finisher against Matt Hardy last night. Ray didn’t like the fact that they pulled it out mid-match, which can dilute the impact of a signature maneuver.
Below is the cool move re-done by The Revival as a means to honor Neidhart, who died earlier in the day. The Revival was in a Triple Threat match versus Hardy/Bray Wyatt and Raw Tag Team Champions the B-Team on Monday.

And here is Bully Ray groaning/making his point on Twitter (“FTR” stands for “F— The Revival,” by the way):
They used one of the best tag team finishes of all time as a mid match “spot” … WTF?!?

The boys of The Revival took the criticism in stride. Well, sort of.
Neidhart, who was also a former NFL player with the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, died Monday at the age of 63.
“WWE is saddened to learn that Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away,” the company wrote on its website yesterday. “WWE extends its condolences to Neidhart’s family, friends and fans.”
Neidhart’s daughter Natalya, who is a current WWE Superstar, posted the following statement to Twitter a few hours before last night’s “Raw” episode, which included a few more-formal tributes to her dad:
I can’t put into words how hard it is going to be for myself and our family to have to say goodbye to my dad. He meant the world to us, and nothing will ever replace the special times we shared together as a family. My dad was always a fighter and an incredibly special person. There was no one like him! I’m just gonna miss him so much. We are going to hold all of the moments we had with him close to our hearts forever and never let them go. I promise to keep your memory alive. We love you so much, Daddy!
On behalf of my entire family, we would also like to personally thank everyone for the outpouring of thoughts and prayers. It’s meant so much to us.
