Gillian Anderson just scored what she describes as the “Best photo bomb in @thexfiles history!”

“The X-Files” star tweeted an image Wednesday that features her in Dana Scully mode — presumably from the set of the the upcoming January “X-Files” miniseries event — flanked by Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner, David Duchovny as Fox Mulder and President Barack Obama in the background.

Obama looks awfully chipper in the sitting-president portrait, a staple prop in television series featuring federal agencies. But will this cast shot get the Presidential Seal of Approval?

Still waiting for the president to weigh in.

This post will be updated if and when Obama chooses to address the evidence.

The six-episode event series begins its two-night premiere immediately following the NFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, on Fox  (airtime to be determined) and continues on Monday, Jan. 25 (8-9 p.m. ET).
