The late XXXTentacion has beaten Taylor Swift’s single-day Spotify streaming record from beyond the grave.

The rapper — real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy — who was killed in a drive-by shooting on Monday, took the title from Swift with his track “Sad!” The song was streamed 10.4 million times globally on Tuesday, according to spotifycharts.com, crushing the 10.1 million record achieved by Swift’s hit “Look What You Made Me Do” on Aug. 25, 2017.

“Sad!” — the lead single from XXXTentacion’s second studio album,”?” — remained at the top of the Spotify chart’s through Wednesday, with three more songs from the rapper, “Jocelyn Flores,” “Moonlight” and “changes,” trailing behind it.

Last month, the rapper’s music was pulled from the streaming site’s popular playlists due to their new “hate conduct” policy, because he had been awaiting trial over accusations that he repeatedly beat his pregnant ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala.

However, Spotify walked back its policy on “hateful conduct” earlier this month after strong pushback from musicians and labels who argued it was “too vague.”

XXXTentacion was killed in a drive-by shooting on Monday. The 20-year-old rising hip-hop star was transported to an area hospital where he lapsed into a coma and later died from his injuries, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed via Twitter.

On Wednesday night, Broward County Sheriff’s Department arrested 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams in connection with the murder, and booked him on several charges, including first-degree murder, a probation violation for theft of a car and driving without a valid license.
