YouTube Star Lilly Singh to Guest on ‘Life in Pieces’ (Exclusive)

Comedian Drew Droege will also appear in new episode of CBS sitcom

YouTube sensation Lilly Singh, known to fans by the net handle iiSuperwomanii, has been cast in a guest-starring role in the upcoming second season of CBS’ “Life in Pieces,” TheWrap has learned exclusively.

Singh will play Jen, the talkative babysitter hired by Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Greg (Colin Hanks). Singh currently has more than nine million subscribers to her YouTube channel, which features comedy and inspirational content.

Singh recently appeared in the feature films “Ice Age: Collision Course” and “Bad Moms.” In March 2017, she will release her debut book “How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Surviving Conquering Life.” She was also named to Forbes’ 2016 30 Under 30 Hollywood & Entertainment list and Fast Company’s Most Creative People 2016.

TheWrap has also learned that Drew Droege has been cast in a guest role in the same episode, playing Chris Joestalli, a sales associate at the high-end bridal boutique where Colleen (Angelique Cabral) goes to find a wedding dress.

Droege is best known for his online parody videos of Golden Globe-winning actress Chloe Sevigny. He has appeared on “Transparent,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Drunk History,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Key & Peele” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

It was previously announced that Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman will appear as guest stars in the Season 2 premiere episode. In addition Boxing Champion Victor Ortiz and Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes will also appear.

Justin Adler created the series and serves as an executive producer. Aaron Kaplan, Jason Winer, Jeff Morton and Brad Copeland also executive produce. Twentieth Century Fox Television produces in association with Kapital Entertainment

“Life in Pieces” Season 2 premiers on October 27 at 9:30/8:30c on CBS.
