Zendaya is hitting the awards circuit again, this time as a host.

The “Shake It Up” star has been tapped to host this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards, which take place Apr. 25 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

“We’re going to have a great show … a lot of fun and get to watch amazing performances, so I’m very, very excited,” the actress-singer said of the upcoming event. “Plus, I’m nominated again for artist with the best style (You’re So Fancy! – Artist With The Best Style), so I better wear a good outfit!”

In addition to hosting this year’s ceremony, Zendaya took home an award at last year’s show, in the “You’ve Got Swag! – Artist With the Best Style” category. She currently stars in and co-produces Disney Channel’s “K.C. Undercover.”

“On stage and off, Zendaya brings intelligence, thoughtfulness and honesty — and an effortless cool factor — to everything she does, all qualities that are appreciated by generations of kids and tweens, and especially their parents,” Radio Disney’s vice president, programming and general manager Phil Guerini said. “We join her legion of fans in welcoming her back to the RDMA stage.”

Zendaya found herself at the center of controversy during the Oscars this year, when “Fashion Police” personality Giuliana Rancic made disparaging remarks about her dreadlocks.

“I feel like she smells like patchouli oil and weed,” Rancic said. The remark drew sharp criticism from Rancic’s “Fashion Police” cohort Kelly Osbourne, who exited the E! show shortly thereafter.
