3 Doors Down Frontman Kicks Out Man Who Hit a Woman During Band’s Colorado Show (Video)

Brad Arnold stops the music to yell at concertgoer and have him escorted out of the venue

3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold was in the middle of performing a song during the band’s Broomfield, Colorado, show when he stopped the music to yell at a man that had apparently hit a woman.

The incident was caught on camera by a concertgoer, which reveals that the entire show came to a halt when Arnold noticed a commotion in the audience.

“Hang on, hang on,” he said, as he waved his hands to stop his fellow bandmates from continuing. “Hey homie! You don’t hit a woman. You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight, you d–k. Get him the hell out of here! Somebody come over here and beat his a–s.”

The crowd immediately erupted in applause as Arnold kept yelling explicit comments at the offender.

The lights were turned on, and the man was promptly escorted out of the 1stBank Center.

In an interview with TIME, band member Chris Henderson said that Arnold had never stopped a concert over a brawl before.

“When he did it, I was like, ‘Man, I’m really glad you did that, because that was gonna get ugly really quick.’”

3 Doors Down was founded in 1996 by Arnold (vocals), Todd Harrell (drums) and Matt Roberts (guitar). They were later joined by Henderson. Their famous songs include “Let Me Go,” “It’s Not My Time” and “Here Without You.”
