Walt Disney Studios Taps Jamie Voris to Be Chief Technology Officer

Jamie Voris is a veteran of Disney and the NFL

The Walt Disney Studios has tapped Jamie Voris to be chief technology officer.

The promotion goes into effect immediately. Voris most recently served as vice president, marketing technology for the company. He  joined Disney in 2010 from the National Football League.

In his new role, Voris will report to Alan Bergman, the studio's president, Disney said. 

“Technology plays such an important role at Disney, helping us create new ways to engage deeply with our consumers while running a more innovative and efficient business. Jamie possesses exactly the combination of experience, expertise, and passion we need to cohesively lead the wide array of technology initiatives at our studio,” Bergman said in a statement.

In addition to Disney and the NFL, Voris  also worked as a technology leader at Playboy, PhotoAlley, USWeb/CKS and Intel Corporation.
