‘The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’ Trailer: Jim Carrey Is Magically Funny Again (Video)

Jim Carrey's character may steal the show in this upcoming Steve Carell comedy

The most incredible thing about the first trailer for "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" is easily Jim Carrey.

Sure, Steve Carell is funny as the titular magician trying to revive his career, but it's Carrey who may end up stealing the show. After taking a year off from the big screen, he's once again playing the type of outlandish comedic character that made him famous in the first place.

Carrey's Steve Gray — a mocking mashup of both Criss Angel and David Blaine — is the popular illusionist/endurance artist who is captivating the country and stealing Wonderstone's Las Vegas audience.

A few of his amazing feats include sleeping on a bed of red-hot coals, throwing fireballs at strangers on the street and holding his urine for twelve whole days.

The latest comedy written by John Francis Daily and Jonathan M. Goldstein ("Horrible Bosses") co-stars Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, James Gandolfini and Alan Arkin as Wonderstone's magical idol-turned-mentor.

"The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" will appear in theaters on March 15, 2013.
