A+E Networks Launches ‘FYI’ on Apple TV

Lifestyle network content now on Apple TV; full episodes and exclusive clips available

A+E Networks lifestyle network FYI is launching on Apple TV, the company announced Tuesday.

The free TV Everywhere content will offer Apple TV users full episodes and exclusive clips from shows like “Married at First Sight,” “Tiny House Nation,” “Born to Style” ” and “Epic Meal Empire.”

Last year, A+E Networks rebranded its Bio Channel as FYI, gearing it to an upscale, younger audience that lives online. At the time, the company said FYI stands for “For your inspiration, for your imagination or for your innovation, FYI will be a personalized experience for each viewer.”

A+E network says it has nearly 25 million downloads across the A+E, HISTORY and Lifetime watch apps to date, with over 60 percent of all broadband video traffic coming from its apps on iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Amazon Fire, Roku, Xbox 360, and Apple TV platforms.
