AMAs Winners: The Complete List

Taylor Swift was honored with first Dick Clark Award at the American Music Awards on Sunday in L.A.

The annual awards show hands out its trophies to winners decided by fan vote.

Rapper and singer Iggy Azalea leads this year with six nominations. John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams follow with five nominations each, while Lorde earns four noms. Additionally, Beyoncé, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic and One Direction were nominated for three awards. They’re followed by Bastille, Drake, Luke Bryan and Sam Smith, who each received two nominations.

Ahead of Sunday’s ceremony, producers Dick Clark Productions and ABC announced that Taylor Swift will be presented with the inaugural “Dick Clark Award for Excellence” at the 2014 American Music Awards. The award honors artists who achieve a groundbreaking feat or creates a landmark work and who the organization feels reflects the visionary passion that Dick Clark, AMAs’ creator, possessed.

Swift opened the awards with the first TV performance of her new single, “Blank Space.” Other AMAs performers included 5 Seconds of Summer, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Jessie J, Lil Wayne, Lorde, Nicki Minaj, One Direction and Sam Smith.

Presenters included Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth Banks, Aloe Blacc, Gavin DeGraw, Ansel Elgort, Jamie Foxx, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Heidi Klum, Mary Lambert, Rose McGowan, Danica McKellar, Olivia Munn, Kevin O’Leary, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taylor Schilling and Meghan Trainor.
