Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore shared their first film together with 1998’s “The Wedding Singer.” Since then, they’ve come together twice more, on “50 First Dates and their most recent project, “Blended.” Reuniting the stars with their “Wedding Singer” director Frank Coraci, the romantic comedy hits theaters on May 23.
The on-screen couple shared the stage on “Chelsea Lately,” where Chelsea Handler wanted to know if they’d ever shared anything else. “Have you guys ever dated, or were you ever hooked up?” she asked.
“Not even a little,” Barrymore replied. “It’s probably why we’ve been able to stick together all these years, ’cause there never was that awkward moment.”
