Anna Faris Producing New Comedy Podcast ‘Missi and Zach Might Bang!’

The “Mom” actress is expanding her podcasting empire alongside Missi Pyle and Zach Selwyn

Anna Faris, of the CBS comedy series “Mom,” is spreading her podcasting wings: She already hosts the podcast “Anna Farris is Unqualified,” where she answers listeners’ relationship-related questions, usually alongside a celebrity guest, and now her new podcast company is launching the new series “Missi and Zach Might Bang!

During Thursday’s episode of “Anna Faris is Unqualified,” she teased the new comedy podcast featuring “Gone Girl” actress Missi Pyle and actor-musician Zach Selwyn. The new show will be a mix of celebrity interviews and improv. Paris will executive produce along with her “Unqualified” co-host/producer Sim Sarna, EW reports.

“Might Bang” is the first podcast to launch under Faris and Sarna’s new podcast company, Unqualified Media.

The first two episodes have already been released. The first features Faris and the second includes “Modern Family” star Eric Stonestreet. The podcast describes itself as “the first hilarious/musical/comedic/sexually charged podcast” that will answer “the immortal question… Will they ever bang?”

The opening of the podcast is a synth-y song with an ’80s-era voice crooning “listen to Missi and Zach/they just might bang/listen to Missi and Zach/they just might bang away.”

Stonestreet’s episode features the actor discussing other podcast appearances and his early acting gigs before Pyle and Selwyin improv a little music.
