Fox News Channel has signed oncologist and Affordable Care Act architect Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel on as a contributor.

Emanuel, the brother of Hollywood agent Ari and Chicago mayor Rahm, will offer healthcare and policy analysis across Fox News and Fox Business Network.

From January 2009 until January 2011, Emanuel served as a Special Advisor on Health Policy to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and National Economic Council in former President Barack Obama’s administration, where he was notably one of the designers of the Affordable Care Act.

Last November, then President-elect Donald Trump met with the new Fox News correspondent’s brother, Ari Emanuel, calling him a “king of Hollywood,” according to The New York Times.

Ari is the co-CEO of William Morris Endeavor talent agency and owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was famously portrayed by Jeremy Piven on the HBO series “Entourage.” Meanwhile, Rahm Emanuel is President Barack Obama’s former chief of staff and the current mayor of Chicago.

Dr. Emanuel graduated from Amherst College and later received his M.Sc. from Oxford University in Biochemistry. He earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and his Ph.D. in political philosophy from Harvard University.

It will be interesting to see how primetime opinion-based Fox News programing such as “Tucker Carlson Tonight” uses the Obamacare guru at Trump looks to repeal the program.
