Ashton Kutcher Doesn’t Listen to Charlie Sheen Anymore, Hears Charlie Brown’s Parents (Video)

“Two and a Half Men” star doesn’t care what his predecessor says, but thanks him for the “awesome job”

Ashton Kutcher had a lot to say about former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen, but luckily he chose to say a lot of it in the voice of all the adults on the various Charlie Brown programs over the years during his stop on TBS’s “Conan.” As he told Conan O’Brien, that’s how he hears Sheen these days.

The topic came up when O’Brien asked him about Sheen expressing interest in making an appearance during the upcoming final season of the long-running CBS comedy.

“I just stopped listening to things that Charlie Sheen says,” Kutcher said. “Charlie Sheen has become like a parent on Charlie Brown to me.”

He went on to add, “I just keep saying thank you for the great job. I’ve got an awesome job and it’s thanks to you not having it anymore. I’m just gonna keep going to work and collecting the check. So whatever.”

When they tried to roll a clip from the upcoming season premiere, it froze instantly, leading Kutcher to shout up to the control room, “Charlie Sheen is running the clip operation back there!”

The 12th and final season of “Two and a Half Men” premieres Thursday, Oct. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
