BET Hip Hop Awards: Watch Kevin Hart in Rap Battle With Lil Wayne (Video)

Chocolate Droppa “hasn’t done a God damn thing”

Out of all the talented hip-hop artists that we would have loved to see go head-to-head in a rap battle with Lil Wayne, Chocolate Droppa was not one of them.

During Tuesday’s BET Hip Hop Awards, Kevin Hart — excuse us, Chocolate Droppa — participated in a one-on-one cypher with Lil Tunechi.

The cyphers are an annual tradition of the BET Hip Hop Awards and easily the most anticipated part of the evening.

This year, DJ Drama had the pleasure of introducing Lil Wayne, while listing off all his accolades which include a thousand features and numerous BET and Grammy awards … and Chocolate Droppa, who “hasn’t done a God damn thing.”

Weezy F Baby went first and proved that despite his health issues and controversy with his record label, he still can effortlessly spit sick rhymes rapping about watching his father get buried to “going hard like Kimbo.”

We can’t say the same for Hart’s alter ego, Droppa, however. Before his less than extraordinary rhymes, the rapper/comedian made sure to shout out his “man, Kevin Hart” and to go see his movie.

“Sloppy Joes, I’m spreading it on all you h—,” he rapped.

Don’t give up your day job. Speaking of which, the comedian’s latest film “What Now?” hits theaters Oct. 4.
