Beyoncé reigns supreme on social media, according to a study from a social media analytics firm that places the pop star at the top of its most valuable celebrity list.
According to a D’Marie Analytics, which tracks social media reach, Beyoncé commands around $1 million per post on social media, which makes her the “highest valued influencer.”
The firm didn’t just use follower count to calculate its findings. If that was the case, the singer would come in at number 18 at the time of this writing (behind Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and four of the Kardashians). It used 56 metrics across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that included follower count, but also engagement and click-through. Basically, all the things that social media managers covet.
CEO Frank Spadafora attributes her success to posts that contain the perfect amount of information and reflect her authenticity.
“It’s divine to see an individual who rarely uses her social media to publish anything but authentic, non-branded content actually become the most valued individual on social media for advertisers. In fact, I believe it’s due to her limited release of exclusive, curated content which causes such a frenzy from her audience,” Spadafora said. “It’s actually a great lesson for all those over-saturating their feeds with branded, unentertaining or thoughtless content just to stay in front of their audience and appear relevant. These days, less really is more.”
Beyoncé has been incredibly successful on social media lately thanks in large part to her pregnancy announcement, which pictured the singer showing off her baby bump before a floral backdrop. While the post did incredibly well on Instagram, it also tracked on Twitter, and across the entire internet for obvious reasons.
She also stunned at the Grammy’s with a performance off her latest album “Lemonade.”

Beyonce’s been continuing her streak by posting frequently — but not too frequently — about her twins. She’s also been stroking theories about the sexes of her babies, although it’s unclear whether this is intentional. A series of photos posted this past weekend had people speculating about gender based on the colors, for example, along with a name theme.
Considering all the flower imagery, and the name of her first daughter, people are thinking a floral theme.
