Blake Shelton, Keith Urban to Perform at the ACM Awards

Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and George Strait also among first batch of performers to be announced

“The Voice” coach Blake Shelton and “American Idol” judge Keith Urban are among the first round of performers to be announced for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, which airs live from Las Vegas on CBS on April 6.

The initial slate of performers also includes Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and The Band Perry.

Shelton and Bryan are co-hosting this year’s ceremony, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Bryan will also perform with Florida Georgia Line for the ACM Fan Jam, which will air live via remote during the ceremony from the the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
