The most wonderful time of the year is upon us, and the holiday season has brought a wonderful surprise for “Boy Meets World” fans: Shawn Hunter is back!
Corey Matthews’ best friend, played by Rider Strong, will appear on the Christmas special of “Girl Meets World” on Friday.
That’s not all the Disney Channel has in store for children of the ’90s. Mr. and Mrs. Matthews — played by William Russ and Betsy Randle, respectively — will be joining Corey (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) for dinner in the new episode titled, “Girl Meets Home for the Holidays.”
Corey’s younger brother, Josh, who popped out in the original sitcom while he was in college, is also tagging along. He’s not played by the same actor, though.
Watch a preview of Corey and Shawn’s reunion, plus a clip of Uncle Josh getting hit on by his niece’s best friend, Riley. And then cross your fingers Mr. Feeney shows up to teach another life lesson, too, when the episode premieres Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel.
