CAA Hires Trio of Music Agents, Welcomes Awolnation, Capital Cities as Clients

Adam Brill, Ben Buchanan, and Brian Hill have joined the agency’s offices in Los Angeles, Toronto and Nashville

Adam Brill, Ben Buchanan, and Brian Hill have joined the music department at CAA, where they’ll be based out of the agency’s Los Angeles, Toronto, and Nashville offices, respectively.

“Adam, Ben, and Brian are proven successes in discovering and nurturing the careers of emerging artists. They will thrive within CAA’s collaborative model of client service,” said Rob Light, managing partner and head of CAA Music.

Brill comes to CAA from APA, where he was an agent for the past six years. Among the clients joining Brill are Awolnation, Capital Cities, Finish Ticket and Alec Benjamin, among others.

Buchanan joins from The Windish Agency and will book such acts as Japandroids, Blood Orange, Jagwar Ma and Phosphorescent, as well as others. He will split his time between Toronto, where he is based, and CAA’s New York office.

This marks a return to the agency for former CAA trainee and 24-year industry veteran Hill. He represents artists including Kevin Fowler, Jack Ingram, the Eli Young Band and LOCASH, all of whom are joining him at CAA.

The market share leader, CAA Music represents many of today’s most successful music artists, from rock, pop, alternative, country, and dance music, to faith-based, Latin and hip-hop/R&B.
