Chris Brown Calls Party Guest Abuse Claims ‘Unequivocally Untrue’

Singer denies battery accusations, says woman in question was removed from hotel for “being disruptive and out of control”

R&B superstar Chris Brown is currently being investigated by Las Vegas police for allegedly punching a woman in the face, TheWrap has learned. However, Brown denies the accusations.

The “Loyal” singer is suspected of battery, a police spokesperson told TheWrap on Saturday. Liziane Gutierrez said Brown jabbed her in the right eye at an after party late Friday night in his suite at the Palms Hotel and Casino, according to TMZ.

“Making false accusations seems to be a pattern of behavior for Ms. Gutierrez. Whatever her motives, her statements are unequivocally untrue,” Brown’s spokesperson Nicole Perna told TheWrap.

The TMZ report said Gutierrez was discovered using her camera phone by the Grammy winner’s security team and the star became irate. Brown fully denies this as well.

“Ms Gutierrez was escorted out of the private after party at the Palms Casino Resort for being disruptive and out of control. Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown‘s security to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown — throwing her purse to the ground and claiming that she ‘could buy everyone in the hotel,’” the Brown statement continued.

Hotel security also saw her “wild behavior,” the rep said, and sent staff to escort her out. The smartphone drama was also labelled a “complete fabrication.”

Brown’s account concludes by wondering “what mood altering substances Ms. Guitterz was on but her statements are completely false and not based in reality. This seems like a clear case of retaliation for her bruised ego.”

Details from the investigation would not immediately be released, the department added. The aforementioned “pattern of behavior” for Gutierrez could refer to an August incident she had in Vegas with singer Jason Derulo.

Gutierrez was captured on tape being denied access to a van containing Derulo groupies. A Portugese publication later said Gutierrez was considering legal action over the slight.

Brown was previously convicted on felony assault charges in 2009 for his abusing then-girlfriend Rihanna. He pleaded guilty and accepted a plea deal of five years probation, six months of community service and a restraining order.
