USA Network’s original series “Mr. Robot” introduces Elliot, played by Rami Malek (“The Pacific,” “Night at the Museum”) in TheWrap’s new exclusive sneak peek of the show. In the series, Malek plays cyber-security computer programmer who is recruited by an underground organization to bring down corporate America.
Christian Slater (“Interview with the Vampire,” “Robin Hood”) stars as the group’s ringleader who encourages the hesitant vigilante to take down a number of big companies, including the one Elliot is paid to guard.
“You’re going to change the world,” Elliot is told in the promo. For now, he is changing television’s idea of a masked hero.
“Mr. Robot” premieres Wednesday, June 24 at 10/9c on USA.
