Conan O’Brien Reminds Us How Much Fun David Bowie Was (Video)

The British singer died Sunday at the age of 69

Fans around the world are mourning the death of pop icon David Bowie, and Conan O’Brien dedicated part of his show Monday to reminding people how fun the singer was.

“He was on our show several times over the years and the man was always outstanding,” he said on “Conan.” “People are remembering today what a phenomenal musician David Bowie was, and of course that was the case. Mindblowingly talented. In my experience, also an incredibly nice person. He was fun, he was always funny, and we want to take a second here and look back at the fun moments I had with Davie Bowie over the years.”

The video takes viewers through Bowie’s many appearances on the show, one in which O’Brien forced him into a duet, about which Bowie didn’t seem too happy.

Throughout the video, we can also see Bowie’s multiple personas, which include the Thin White Duke and Ziggy Stardust. During one of his appearances, O’Brien made up some personas, such as the suave hunchback or the corn on the cob.

Bowie died on Sunday following an 18-month battle with cancer, just days after his 69th birthday and the release of his final album, “Blackstar.”
