A new clip for the Netflix show also highlights Matt Murdock’s origins and fighting skills

Netflix released a new motion poster for “Daredevil” on Thursday that gives fans their first official look at The Man Without Fear’s famous red costume.

The poster begins with Murdock dressed in a suit and tie. He then transitions into the black costume that has been featured in trailers for the show. Finally, we see Murdock in the costume made famous in the Marvel comic books.

Netflix also released a new clip for the show in which Charlie Cox, who plays the title character, goes into Daredevil’s backstory and how he learned to turn his disability into a strength.

Cox explains that Murdock was blinded at 9 years old. After his father’s death, Murdock was sent to an orphanage where he learned to fight from another blind man named Stick (Scott Glenn).
