Report: Marvel Developing 'The Inhumans'

Marvel Entertainment is developing "The Inhumans" for feature-film release, according to ItsontheGrid.com, a division of TheWrap.

A mixture of the sci-fi/fantasy drama about a race of alien superbeings from the dark side of the Moon is one of Marvel's more niche titles.

According to the ItsontheGrid.com listing, the movie will be a "superhero action (film) in the vein of 'X-Men' about aliens who were put on Earth as a sleeper cell to evetually call back their race to take over the planet."

Marvel's Stan Lee and Jack Kirby wrote the source comic; Kevin Feige is listed as producer.

Marvel has yet to offer confirmation or comment.
