GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s relations with the black community took another stunning leap forward on Wednesday, as Trump supporter Don King dropped the N-word while introducing the candidate.
In a church.
The boxing promoter let the racial epithet slip during a Cleveland event for Trump, who will be the first to tell you that he’s beloved by black voters.
King’s N-word moment came while he related an anecdote about deceased King of Pop Michael Jackson, USA Today reports.
“I told Michael Jackson, I said, ‘If you’re poor, you are a poor negro — I would use the ‘n word’ …,” King began.
And then he did use it.
“If you are a dancing and sliding and gliding n—- … I mean negro …,” King continued.
Can someone check this guy for signs of CTE?
At any rate, according to the paper, the gaffe drew a chuckle from Trump, who at this very moment is being adored by millions of African-American voters.
