After being criticized for encouraging Russia to hack into rival Hillary Clinton’s email account this week, Donald Trump may have gotten his wish after all.

It seems as if Hillary Clinton’s campaign was hacked, according to Reuters.

The attack, which was disclosed on Friday, is the third such cyber hack launched on Democrats.

The U.S. Department of Justice national security division is now investigating whether the cyber attacks threatened national security.

According to Reuters, individuals “with knowledge of the investigation” say that the involvement of the Justice Department means the government has already determined that the attack was in fact state sponsored.

“An analytics data program maintained by the DNC, and used by our campaign and a number of other entities, was accessed as part of the DNC hack,” said Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill. “Our campaign computer system has been under review by outside cyber security experts.  To date, they have found no evidence that our internal systems have been compromised.”

According to the Reuters, U.S. intelligence officials have already determined that the hackers were Russian and that they were able to penetrate the fundraising network of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which includes emails, strategy plans and opposition research.
