Alien invasion drama picks up a few weeks after the human survivors have been spared relocation, but their homecoming in Charleston turns out to be anything but welcoming
TNT's post-apocalyptic drama, “Falling Skies,” has managed to keep things twisting and turning for the past three season. With Season 4 premiering this Sunday at 10/9c, the network decided to whet fans’ appetites, and try to entice new viewers, by putting the first five minutes of the premiere online.
At the close of Season 3, which saw the 2nd Mass earn their right to fight the alien forces amassing on the planet, they began the long trek back home.
The premiere picks up the action 22 days later, with the group finally arriving at the outskirts of Charleston. But they're hardly allowed a moment of happiness when the alien Espheni sent out attack drones that immediately start wiping out the human survivors, and setting up an energy fence around them, separating the group.
And thus the ground is set for a very different Season 4, with the 2nd Mass scattered and at the mercy of these new alien overlords.
