Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are back behind the wheel in the official Super Bowl spot for “Furious 7,” which hit the web shortly after airing Sunday on NBC.
“The most important thing in life will always be family,” says Diesel’s character over a montage of the “Fast” franchise’s most famous faces.
But then he gets a call from the film’s villain (franchise newcomer Jason Statham), who blows up his home.
The action-packed trailer has machine guns, explosions, hand-to-hand combat and (of course) more vehicular action than you can shake a stick at. But there are poignant moments, too.
“One last ride,” Diesel says to Walker, as they flip back the cover on the franchise’s iconic black Dodge Charger. The line reminds audiences “Furious 7” will be the actors’ final pairing, as Walker died tragically on November 30, 2013.
Dwayne Johnson also stars in the James Wan-directed film, along with Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson.
